Nattier is a heritage luxury brand created by Vittorio and Brenda Azario, partners in work and in life that produced the ultimate couture fabrics of the 1960’s and became synonymous with the magic and glamour of the period. Vittorio and Brenda's clients and friends in many cases were the Valentino's, Dior, Balenciaga, Chanel, Ungaro and Courreges' of the world. Today, Nattier is led by the daughter of the founders, Cristina Azario, who, inspired by a rich past, creates pieces for the present, work that is personal, luxurious and contemporary.
My family believed in expressing their work in the spirit of the times they lived in. I share that passion, it comes from within me. I collaborate with friends in the world of fashion and design to interpret Nattier for a new generation. There is an Italian word that I have always loved, it’s ‘sprezzatura’, which means to make beautiful things, but without excessive seriousness and always with a touch of welcome joy. It is this that guides me on the creative journey that inspires the Nattier pieces of today.
